This has to be the easiest apple tart you can make! Just make sure you have store brought puff pastry on hand and within less than 15 min of work, you'll have a delicious, warm, flaky, sweet, buttery and fruity dessert ready!
This is one of my husband's favorite recipe, and anytime there's 3 apples in our kitchen, he asks for it!
I hope you will adopt this and make it as much as we do!
Pre heat your oven at 400 F. Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
Unroll the puff pastry on the parchment paper. Flatten it with a rolling pin if needed to get a flat and even shape, but don’t make the dough thinner.
With a pairing knife, score the dough, about ½ inch away from the edge, all around the pastry, without cutting all the way through.
Peel and core the apples. Cut them in 2 and then in thin slices. Place them on the puff pastry. Keep them inside the frame, so you have a nice edge of flaky dough all around when it bakes.
Either melt your butter and brush it all over the apples, or spread little chunks everywhere. Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
Optional, for a sweet crispy edge
With your finger or a pastry brush, brush a little bit of milk on the edge of the frame and sprinkle the coarse sugar.
Bake for about 30 min, until edges are nice golden brown and you can lift the tart without it being too soft. If the tart looks cooked but the dough is too soft, transfer to a grill to finish cooking.
hi, This is Samira and I learnt about you from my friend. I lived in Switzerland for 10 years, so I speak French and I know Swiss and Italian cuisine well.
My passion is Persian cuisine and I noticed you don’t have any Persian course in your calendar. Do you agree with me that it is a good idea to include a Persian course in your schedule?
I will be glad to help you for this training.
Please let me know, my number is: 778-840-2040.
Thanks!!
